Ready to Increase Your SEO Traffic?
Since it can be difficult to cover all 10 in one single message, we will instead focus on the first three on the list and go into them in detail. Even if you just do these three things, you’ll see results in a short amount of time. There is no one approach that will increase your SEO traffic, but having a solid foundation will enable you to create the content that you need to get the results that you want.
1. The first thing that you want to do is to rename all of the images on your site to have descriptions in the name and also use IMG ALT Tags. This sounds like a big ordeal, and it will most likely be for the first phase of the process. However, the results will justify the hard work you put into it. Images can end up pulling in visitors just as much as basic keywords will. Think about it for a second. How many times have you looked for an image of something and decided to drop in and check out the site to see what they have to offer? When you name your images something relevant, they can pull in people that want to see more of what you have to offer. It’s a win-win situation.
2. Next, you want to make sure that all of your critical keywords are in the title tag, the URL, meta description, and content for the page. By putting all of the primary keywords in these areas, you increase the odds of a search engine pulling up your site as a match. Most of these changes can be done very easily, but be careful not to put too much in the titles and make them hard to read for your visitors. Think about what words are most likely to lure readers in or will be searched for. Take your knowledge and ask yourself what people are most inquisitive about. Once you determine that, you can start editing your content and titles to increase your ranking.
3. Lastly, don’t ever write for search engines. Whether you do a daily blog or run a professional website, be sure that your content is entertaining and easy to read. People don’t want to struggle through something that wasn’t even intended for them in the first place. If you think about your audience and what they are looking for, your content will match the keywords anyways. Make your writing natural and organic; that’s what the search engines are looking for anyways.
